Use Mobile Phones For 120 days Without PTA Approved
Federal Board of Revenue FBR and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority PTA have introduced a temporary registration service for mobile phones brought out of Pakistan. According to this service, you can run for free for 120 days without registering and paying for text. Then you have to get upright from a mobile phone PTA.
The purpose of this new system is to facilitate foreign nationals coming to Pakistan. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif PTA Chairman Major General Khafijur Rahman Federal Minister for IT and Tele Nation Syed Immun -ul -Haq and other notable guests participated in the preliminary ceremony.
How the System Works
Under this new service, we inform you that the Federal Board of Renewal (FBR) Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), and the Federal Industrialization Agency (FIA) are working together and through FIA and IBMS. Verifies the date of receipt of the application and exchanges its migration data while the applicant applies for this service and the immigration staff enters the data into their system after receiving all the information You activate your phone.
This is a very good initiative taken by the PTA and let us tell you that this initiative is also taken in foreign countries like Pakistan and as well. Reflects Pakistan’s effort to facilitate the citizens of other countries
Requirements
Applicants must have the following documents to take advantage of this facility.
- Passport number
- Mobile SIM card
- Date of arrival and departure
- IMEI number of the device
After 120 days the mobile phone location will not be working to use the Internet facility.
How To Get This Offer?
Under this new service, the Federal Board of Revenue Pakistan Telecommunications Authority PTA and Federal Investigation Agency FIA work together and Immigration Data confirms the date of the applicant through the FIA IBMS. The immigration staff will enter their system and activate their phone when the applicant applies for this service.
The move reflects the government’s efforts to facilitate Pakistanis and other foreign nationals abroad.
